Israel's Case Regarding the Land

Israel became a nation around 1350 or 1360 BC, long before the rise of Islam in AD 570, establishing a presence in the land over 1,400 years prior to Islam becoming a significant power around AD 700. Jerusalem has been Israel's capital since David secured it between 1100 and 1000 BC, naming it as his living place and the central seat of the Israelitish people, a status it has never ceased to hold. In contrast, Islam controlled Jerusalem for only twenty-two years during the Crusades and never claimed it as their capital. Before 1948, many of Arabic descent abandoned the Jerusalem area, fleeing to nations like Jordan and Saudi Arabia, who refused to grant them citizenship, leaving them as permanent outcasts. Meanwhile, those who remained in the land during the 1948 war were granted citizenship by Israel upon liberation, a gesture not mirrored by their Arab counterparts.
