Have we abandoned our "first love" as warned in Revelation 2:4? We are to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, and mind, as stated in the Great Commandment. While we may be zealous in our works and doctrinal vigilance, we can accidentally drift away from love through weariness, distraction, or complacency, allowing our zeal to become detached from our primary devotion to God. Love God above all else, mirroring the examples of David, Abraham and Ruth.
