Brian Wulf, in observing the memorial of John Kennedy's assassination, focuses upon the symbolism of the tower in scripture, reflecting that some Americans may have,in their misguided minds, considered this man-made icon an impenetrable tower, a supposed champion of the underdog. Americans also placed their faith in the WTC towers, brought down to nothing on September 11. Other towers of note mankind have constructed - Babel and Siloam - have crumbled. David, on the other hand, placed His trust in God as his tower of strength.
