sermonette: Lessons on Remembering

N/A
John W. Ritenbaugh
Given 09-Nov-02; Tape #583s; 17 minutes

Description: (hide)

John Ritenbaugh focuses upon the problem of memory and forgetfulness, citing the numerous commands throughout scripture to remember and not forget. Life consists of a set of experiences. We could not develop character unless we could remember the results or consequences of our daily choices. Unfortunately our people Israel have forgotten their identity as descendants of Manasseh (whose etymology ironically means forgetting). Impression, Repetition, and Association are the three vital laws of memory. We need to actively practice these laws to get results.
