Herbert W. Armstrong reiterates that what is taught in most 'Christian' professing churches today is the diametric opposite of what Christ taught or commanded. There is so much of the counterfeit (precepts and teachings of men) that the real gospel is hard to find. 'Professing Christ' while refusing to repent is a sure way to separate oneself from God. Christ's sheep (or His true followers) recognize His voice (the truth of what He says) and voluntarily follow Him, rejecting the false customs and false messiahs of this world.
