telecast: What is the True Church Like? (Part 2)

Hebrews 12:6-11, Revelation 12:5-17
Herbert W. Armstrong (1892-1986)
Given 02-Aug-79; Tape #RAD8091; 28 minutes

Description: (hide)

Herbert W. Armstrong contends that although 'Christian' professing churches seemingly flourish throughout the world, Christ and God the Father does not authorize or recognize most of them. God's true Church is composed of called-out individuals, begotten of God's Spirit, who have forsaken their carnal nature and have yielded to God's rule and God's correction, faithfully keeping His Commandments, including the identifying Sabbath Commandment. God's true Church, a small persecuted and scattered flock, does not involve itself with the political activity of this world (considering it spiritual adultery), but remains faithful to the leadership of Christ, metaphorically the bridegroom of the Church(His affianced Bride). The booklet Are We Living in the Last Days? was offered on this program.
