telecast: The Kingdom of God

Matthew 13:13-17
Herbert W. Armstrong (1892-1986)
Given 06-Jun-79; Tape #RAD8050; 28 minutes

Description: (hide)

Herbert W. Armstrong reiterates that the purpose of Christ's parables was not to make things clearer to understand, but instead to obscure the meaning to all but the initiated or the called, those willing to repent, yielding to God's rule and shaping power, and receiving the begettal of the Holy Spirit (the agency of spiritual transformation). The Gospel that Jesus brought (a gospel few have heard) was about the Kingdom of God and the process through which called-out individuals may be born into or transformed into members of the God family. The booklets What Do You Mean The Kingdom of God? and Predestination as well as the Ambassador College Bible Correspondence Course were offered on this program.
