telecast: The Parable of the Sower

Matthew 13:13-15, Mark 9:9-12, Luke 8:9-10
Herbert W. Armstrong (1892-1986)
Given 05-Jun-79; Tape #RAD8049; 28 minutes

Description: (hide)

Herbert W. Armstrong reiterates that most professing 'Christians' have heard a gospel of men about Jesus Christ, but have never heard Christ's Gospel of the Kingdom of God. False ministers, many who are sincerely deceived, substitute the traditions of men for Christ's Gospel, while foolishly denigrating righteous works and Commandment keeping. Christ spoke in parables in order that only those who have been called (who have yielded to His rule and have been given His Holy Spirit) would perceive the intended meaning, but to those not yet called, it would sound like incomprehensible gibberish. The booklets What Kind of Faith is Required for Salvation? and Predestination were offered on this program.
