Herbert W. Armstrong asserts that 30% of the Bible is prophecy, of which 90% remains to be fulfilled in the decades ahead, most of it involving the fate of America and Britain. The United States and Britain possess more than 2/3 of the wealth and the developed resources of this world,having aquired most of these resources since 1800. It makes no sense that small, insignificant nations would be mentioned in Bible prophecies and that major powers would be ignored. Understanding prophetic identity involves knowledge of the identity of descendants of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob — especially the offspring of Ephraim and Manasseh (the peoples of Britain and the United States respectively).
