telecast: The True Church Does God's Will

Developing Character
Herbert W. Armstrong (1892-1986)
Given 18-May-79; Tape #RAD8036; 28 minutes

Description: (hide)

Herbert W. Armstrong reiterates that the church Jesus Christ built remains steadfastly obedient to His Commandments and teachings, yielding continually to His rule, as metaphorical clay yielding to the potter's shaping or fashioning. Created in God's image, the human being is the only mortal creature equipped to think, plan, or decide, using his free moral agency for good or evil. God gives us minds and free will for the purpose of developing character, striving against our carnal nature, and choosing freely (with the help of God's Holy Spirit) to develop the attributes of God. The booklets Does God Exist? and The United States and the British Commonwealth in Prophecy were offered on the program.
