The progress mankind attains is confined to the physical realm, but the troubles and evils occur in the spiritual realm. Humanity has rejected the spiritual knowledge that would bring the needed solutions to its staggering problems. Before humanity (with its inventive cleverness) destroys itself, God has promised to intervene.
