telecast: Ezekiel 27 - Satan's Fall

Isaiah 14:12-15, Ezekiel 28:12-19
Herbert W. Armstrong (1892-1986)
Given 01-Jan-34; Tape #HA231A; 30 minutes

Description: (hide)

Herbert W. Armstrong, comparing the tentative and hazy secular histories attempting to explain the Earth's origin with the clear and forthright biblical account, concludes that the Bible is the most logical and up to date book ever compiled. The earth, according to biblical accounts, was originally intended as a habitation for angels — created perfect and flawless. The former Archangel that Covers, symbolized by the Prince of Tyre in Ezekiel 28 and the King of Babylon in Isaiah 14, rebelled against God's purpose for him, leading one third of the angelic beings into open warfare with God, bringing destruction and decay to an otherwise perfect creation. God renewed the corrupted face of the Earth in six days, fashioning it as a habitation for mankind. The booklet Does God Exist? was offered on this program.
