Description: Ted Bowling, reflecting on Jesus Christ‚s trial and crucifixion, concludes that our Savior was guilty of telling the truth, making the religious leaders uncomfortable because of their deficits. He was guilty of performing good deeds, deeds which demonstrated the Pharisees lack of compassion and mercy. It is not possible to lead a life of righteousness unless we keep God‚s Law in the letter and the spirit. There is a fundamental difference between the world‚s view of good works and God‚s view of good works. Everything that we do must be done to glorify God, providing evidence that we are bearing good fruit. By the world‚s standards, niceness is not natural, but by God‚s standards, it is an integral part of His nature, something which must become an integral part of our core nature. (17 minutes)
