Description: Bill Onisick asks us whether in light of our many burdens (employment, money, health, homes, transportations) if we have not become spiritual hunchbacks. Are we allowing ourselves to become manipulated by the distractions of the world? Jesus warns us in Luke 21 not to become distracted by the bait or the lures of the world, suggesting that as a bird is snared by a trap, we can become trapped by the cares of the world (and suffer through the Day of the Lord.) If we pray always, God may allow us to escape from these snares. When we find ourselves burdened down like a hunchback, we are admonished to cast our burdens upon the Lord who promises He will never abandon us or forsake us. (16 minutes)
