Description: Bill Onisick cautions that sometimes it is only through hindsight can one determine what is a blessing and what it is not a blessing. During his third tithe year, he experienced severe numbness that seemed to portend multiple sclerosis. After multiple tests to rule out multiple sclerosis, he prayerfully reflected on the promise in James 1:5 to achieve the wisdom he needed to get through this trial. In order to overcome sore trials, we need to exercise boldness, confidently knowing that we have a faithful High Priest who can help us through all the doubts and fears we experience. We are to become comforted by understanding God's truth, and by becoming acquainted with God the Father and Jesus Christ, realizing they will give us the faith to keep us from wavering. (18 minutes)
