Description: Greg Smith, reflecting on Christ's open question as to whether He will find faith when He returns (Luke 18:8) warns us not to be drawn into compromise by those who claim to be members of God's church. As a jealous God, He is zealous to remove the infection of heresy to keep us spiritually safe. As God's called-out ones, we must not only have the discernment to resist false doctrine, but must also have the faith to resist the pulls of the world. Faith comes from hearing God's Word from the ministry, expounding the examples of those in the Faith. From life's experiences we learn to trust God's intervention in our lives. God gives faith and faithfulness as a gift (Galatians 5:22). To prepare for the trials and tests to come, we must nurture faith by responding to God while He is near. (20 minutes)
