Description: Martin Collins, reflecting upon the book Dress for Success, reveals that the degree of formality of attire causes others to make character appraisals of the one wearing the clothing. Our tastes in clothing, friendships, and entertainment tell others a great deal about our inner spiritual qualities. Washington State University has provided a checklist for job interviewing which emphasizes moderation in clothing, jewelry, cosmetics, and fragrances in order not to offend the interviewer. Similarly, we as God’s called out ones or ambassadors of Christ must give attention to our speech and attire in order not to offend the Interviewer appraising us for our future spiritual positions.
