Description: Brian Wulf explores the symbolism of the wedding garment in Matthew 22. In the tradition of Middle Eastern weddings, clothing served as a means of identifying the legitimate identification for those attending the wedding, upholding security and paying honor to the wedding couple. The wedding garment signifies holiness, purity, and righteousness. These special garments: (1) identify the wedding guests, (2) are supplied by the host (3) conform with what the host (God Almighty) is preparing, (4) identifies who (and who does not) belongs , (5) has immeasurable value to all the guests, (6) the significance will only be revealed at the wedding, and (7) represents the prestige and wealth of God the Father.
